We (Savannah, Lily and I) left Barbados bright and EARLY this morning. We are off to Miami to shop for clothes, running shoes etc. for our Great Escapes trip and party clothes for Nans as she is finally 16 and can go out. Couldn't wait to see Chloe, she picked us up from the airport. It really is tough sending your kids away from home to school but it is doubly wonderful when you get to see them unexpectedly.
We had dinner with a bunch of her college friends. I love being surrounded by a bunch of young people. They definitely are full of different ideas, dreams and expectations. Seems like such a long time ago that I was that age but yet sometimes it feels like yesterday. Clo, has a very nice bunch of friends and we look forward to seeing them each trip.
Then it was back to the airport to collect Andrew who came to spend Easter weekend with "HIS GIRLS". He is very out numbered in our home.
